About the Rooms
築30年あまりの旧自宅をほんの一部を除き、
セルフリノベーションにて改装しております。
長く暮らした家には多くのキズや軋み、
ガタつきが見られる場所も。
古材や廃材を使い、壁や床や天井には
様々な種類と色のペンキを塗りました。
新築でもない、古民家でもない、
プロのリノベ物件でもない。
手作り感満載の仕上がりを楽しんで
いただけたら嬉しいです。
We have self-renovated our former home, which was built over 30 years ago.
The owner’s family lived in for a long time, and there are some scratches, creaks, and rattles in some areas.
We decorated this house with scrap wood and painted the walls, floors, and ceilings with different colors.
This is not a new building or a professionally renovated property.
This is a humble house.
We hope you enjoy the handcrafted details.

リビング、キッチン、洗面所、浴室、トイレがあります。
廊下で区切られておらず、リビングは吹き抜けで開放的な間取りになっています。
秋頃から冬期間は薪ストーブもご利用いただけます。
（暖房設備は1階は薪ストーブ、2階寝室はエアコン）
First floor
There are a living room, kitchen, washroom, bath(ofuro), and bathroom/toilet.
The living room has an open floor plan with the staircase.
The heating system is the wood stove during a fall to winter season. No AC.
吹き抜けのリビングには薪ストーブやソファ、ロッキングチェアーがあります。
The vaulted living room has a wood-burning stove, sofa, and rocking chair.
キッチンには基本的な食器や調理器具、調味料が置いてあります。
The kitchen is equipped with basic dishes, utensils, and seasonings.
BBQスペース。用具も貸し出ししています。
BBQ space. Equipment is available for rent.
お風呂はモミの風呂桶で。
The bath is in a fir bath tub.

寝室が2部屋、ベッドが各部屋2つずつあります。
4名以上のご利用の場合、マットレスにての対応となります。

Second floor
There are two bedrooms (each with two beds), and if there are more than 4 people in the room,
they will be accommodated with mattresses (up to 7 people).
There are air conditioners in both bedrooms on the second floor.

This room has a beautiful view from the front. You can see the terraced rice fields and the Joetsu city area in the distance. Rest your body at night and have a good dream.
【 room．forest 】
レムの部屋よりも大きめな部屋です。掃き出し窓から見える欅の木や、周りの林が近いので、緑と壁紙の装飾が相まって、まるで森の中にいるように感じる部屋です。
[Forest Room]
This room is larger than the Remu room. The zelkova tree seen from the window and the surrounding woods are close by, so the greenery combined with the wallpaper decorations make the room feel as if you were in a forest.
２階からは1階リビングが見下ろせます。
The second floor overlooks the first floor living room.

Cosakrem
高尾地区は山の中に民家が20軒ほどある小さな地域です。
集落には神社(琴毘沙神社）と樹齢800年越えの大ケヤキがあります（市の文化財指定）
坂道が多く、地域の人が営む田畑や、自然の木々が生い茂る林があります。
商店はありません。
徒歩圏内どころか、車で最低でも10分ほど行かないとありません。
自動販売機もありません。
あるものも、ないものも、どうぞ存分にお楽しみください。
Takao is a small agricultural community with about 20 private houses in the mountains. The village has a shrine (Kotobisa jinjya) with a 800 year old large zelkova tree. This tree has been designated as a cultural heritage by the city of Joetsu. You will see that there are many hilly streets, rice and vegetable fields by local people, and beautiful woods.
There are no stores. The closest stores are a 10-minute drive away. There are no vending machines, either.
Please enjoy what you have in Takao and what you do not have to the fullest.
